God know how much it would have been if I had wanted an actual fob type remote key with butto. It was a great result and I was very surprised that the whole thing worked from a single photo for such a low price. Bodged it back together with a combo of two fobs and although the spring up function when you press the button doesn't work very well it'll do as a second key I rarely use.
Wow that's very good! £70 cheaper than Apple.
Key Cutting - Of course a skilled key cutter could start with a piece of suitable metal not pre-shaped at all, so modifying a generally similar blank shouldn't pose major problems, but in the real world if you can do that you're probably earning money doing something more lucrative than cutting keys.

Does anyone know what the standard cost to get a basic cylinder lock key cut would be. Exactly the same with me. I accept maybe Timpsons dont do basic car keys or refuse to cut a key you provide.
